Gun oil wont dry out and provides a long lasting glide. Gun oil is made from Dimethicone which is the highest grade form of silicone. It is hypoallergenic and does not stain fabrics. Gun oil actually contains no oil so it is perfectly safe for use with condoms and is highly concentrated so a little goes a long way.
